Newfields Elementary Arts Week!

Our Arts Week program originated from a need to bring the school community together during the COVID-19 pandemic. We brought in professional artists for 5 days to teach various art forms such as visual art, hip hop dance, creative movement, African drumming, Shakespeare, and musical theater.

 

The Arts Week program provides a joyful and exciting learning environment and positively impacts students' social and emotional well-being. It also aligns with the school administration's goals for arts education, allowing students to explore creating, presenting, responding, and connecting to art.
